Wheel-thrown in stoneware with a gently scalloped rim that falls into petal-like points around the edge. The bowl itself is wide and open; the right size for breakfast, a generous scoop of ice cream, or anything else that deserves a good bowl.
The glaze is a soft matte white with specks of iron from the clay that burn through as warm rust spots, scattered differently on every bowl.
Because these are thrown one at a time, the petal points fall in slightly different places on each one, and the proportions shift a little between them. That's the charm of handmade!
