These cups started as an experiment and ended up as something worth selling. Wheel-thrown in a speckled stoneware clay, with a light beige base glaze with small iron specks, and a second glaze applied in loose, spontaneous splashes over the top. That second glaze is the variable: rich and dark where it pools, but full of glitter and sparkles where the light catches it, which adds a bit of personality.
They're one-offs, and there won't be another pair exactly like them.
Because these are thrown and glazed one at a time, and because experiments don't repeat themselves, both cups are unique.
